Azaza Match saves your progress with an anonymous account, without a sign-up. We hold no name or contact details for you, so we find your records by the Player ID in the game.
How to ask
- In the game, tap the gear button at the top left of the home screen to open Settings, and tap the Player ID line to copy it. (The support report you copy from the Version … line has your Player ID in it too.)
- Email help@argozone.com with the subject "Data deletion request", and paste your Player ID into the message.
- We act on your request and reply within 10 days of receiving it.
If you are done with the game, uninstall it too, after copying your Player ID. While the app is still on your phone, the progress stored on the phone may be saved again the next time it runs. Uninstalling the game removes what it stored on the phone and its device identifiers.
A parent, guardian or someone you authorize can also make the request for you.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deletedon your request
- Your cloud save: the game progress stored in Cloud Firestore (stages cleared, gold, gems, lives, win streak, your gear and its upgrade levels, keys and the chest guarantee count, and so on)
- Your anonymous account: the anonymous Firebase Authentication account and its Player ID
Keptuntil deleted automatically
- Error reports (Firebase Crashlytics): deleted automatically after 90 days
- Gameplay statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase): deleted automatically after 2 months. They are not linked to your Player ID, so they cannot be looked up and deleted one by one. Aggregated statistics that identify no one may remain.
- Firebase installation identifiers and similar technical data: as set by Google's Firebase retention policies
- Your emails to us and any support report you sent: kept for 1 year after your request is closed, then deleted
These periods are the ones in section 2 of the privacy policy.
Your phone and Android backup
- The progress and settings stored on your phone are removed when you uninstall the game.
- If Android's automatic backup is on, a copy of the game's data on your phone is backed up to your Google Account, and your progress comes back when you reinstall. That backup is managed by Google and your phone's settings, not by us; you can turn it off or delete it in your phone's backup settings.
"Start over" is not deletion
Start over in the game's settings takes your progress back to the beginning and overwrites your cloud save with the new progress. It does not delete your anonymous account, gameplay statistics or error reports. To have your data deleted, write to the address above.
